Galliamov Eduard Abdulkhaevich, PhD, Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Department of Faculty Surgery №1 in Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, the surgeon-in-chief in civil aviation hospital, the surgeon-in-chief in Hospital «MEDSI», the surgeon-in-chief in university hospital of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
In 1985 he graduated from Bashkir State Medical University and then underwent 1-year general surgery internship in Surgical Department of Ufa City Clinical Hospital №21. From 1986 to 2000 he carried on working in the hospital as a surgeon under the guidance of Gantsev Shamil Khanaevich and Senderovich Efim Iosifovich honoured as his first teachers.
In 1998 Galliamov Eduard Abdulkhaevich finished his master's thesis «Diagnosis and surgical treatment of peptic duodenal ulcer complicated with chronic cholecystitis» under supervision of professor Sahautdinov Vener Gaizovich.
Since 2000 he has been working in Moscow. In 2001 he joined the Department of Faculty Surgery №1 in Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry as an Assistant Professor and in the same year he accepted the call to the position of the surgeon-in-chief in the hospital №47.
In 2008 Galliamov Eduard passed PhD defense on the subject: «The problem of improvement and the introduction of high-tech endosurgical interventions into clinical practice» under the guidance of professor Lutsevich Oleg Emmanuilovich.
Since 2010 he has been on the staff of Department of Faculty Surgery №1 of Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry as a Professor.
In 2015 he was invited to become the expert of European section of urotechnology in European association of urologists and since then has been working as an active member of the teaching group.
The primary focus of his surgical and scientific activity, since the very onset, has been laparoscopic surgery. And today he is believed to be one of the most experienced specialist in the laparoscopic general, oncologic and colorectal surgery (including total and partial gastrectomy, pancreoduodenal resection, partial hepatectomy, hiatial hernioplasty, interventions in biliary system), urology (total and partial nephrectomy, plasty of UPJ, radical prostatectomy and bladder cystectomy), gynecology (myomectomy, hysterectomy) and reconstructive surgery (all kind of fistulas and strictures)
Nowadays professor Galliamov performs operations in hospitals not only all over the Russia, but also in Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Greece and Italy
In 2009 professor Galliamov Eduard Abdulhaevich was awarded a diploma by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for professional excellence and personal contribution in the performing of complex operations.
In 2010 Professor Galliamov was declared as person of the year by the Academician Shumakov Federal Scientific Center of Transplantation and Artificial Organs.
In 2011 he was awarded a certificate of honor by the Mayor of Moscow.
Professor Galliamov is not only the author of more than 15 patents and inventions for endosurgery, more than 150 scientific papers but also the surgeon who performed for the first time in Russia such difficult interventions as «Laparoscopic partial hepatectomy of the left lateral sector from living donor», «Laparoscopic gastrectomy with lymphadenectomy and ezofagoenteroanastomosis», laparoscopic hand-assisted live donor nephrectomy; laparoscopic hand-assisted intervention for necrotiс pancreatitis; laparoscopic hand-assisted gastrectomy; subtotal partial gastrectomy for cancer.
Professor Galliamov Eduard Abdulhaevich is actively engaged in teaching, medical and scientific work in Department of Faculty Surgery №1 of Evdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry giving master classes to demonstrate laparoscopic techniques in hospitals of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan Ukraine, Turkey, Romania, Greece and Italy.
